Gates of Discord Plate Armor Quests

These are the plate versions of the Gates of Discord armor quests, covering Bards, Clerics, Paladins, Shadowknights, and Warriors.

Step One: Muramite Xxx Armor drops from certain named critters in Qvic and higher zones. (Xxx is the name of the slot for that piece of armor, like Muramite Boot Armor or Muramite Helm Armor. The slot on the muramite xxx armor is the slot that your final piece of quest armor will fit.)

Step Two: Give the Muramite Xxx Armor to your quest npc. They will give you back a Reworked Muramite Xxx.
Bards: Luvwen Arrya in Abysmal Sea @ -255, 88, next to loom in large room by bank
Clerics: Dakkamor Ironspirit in Abysmal Sea @ -175, 75, 95
Paladins: Trimdet Trueheart in Abysmal Sea @ -248, 170, Large room by bank
Shadowknights: Rayin Yvain in Abysmal Sea @ -173, 175, Large room by Bank
Warriors: Vadd Rabbok in Abysmal Sea @ -237, 170, Large room by Bank

Step Three: Make or buy Infused Muramite Metal. The difficult ingredient for these is meldstones, which drop randomly in Kod'Taz and higher zones. You first use the meldstones to make Muramite Metal Sheets. You then use those to make Infused Muramite Metal.

Muramite Metal Sheet
Components: Meldstone, Smithy Hammer, Water Flask
In: Forge, Tanaan Forge
Also Returns: Smithy Hammer(1)
On Failure Returns: Smithy Hammer
Required Skill Level: 240<x<=241 (Smithing Trivial 282)
Yield: 1

Infused Muramite Metal
Components: Muramite Metal Sheet, Nalasrine's Superior Plate Solvent
In: Forge, Tanaan Forge (Smithing Trivial no fail)
Yield: 1

The smithy hammer and water are both very common and widely available. The Nalasrine's Superior Plate Solvent is only sold by Nalasrine Twinklecoil in the Abysmal Sea and costs 10,500 plat each. (That's ten thousand, five hundred platinum pieces, not ten and a half.)

Note that the meldstones and muramite metal sheets are not No Drop, so you can buy them and/or have a smith make the metal sheets. The nalasrine's superior plate solvents and infused muramite metals ARE no drop, so you will need to smith them yourself. Happily, that step will never fail.

For chestplates and greaves you will need two infused muramite metals. For all other pieces you only need one.

Step Four: Combine the Reworked Muramite Xxx and the appropriate number of Infused Muramite Metals in a forge to get your new, finished piece of armor.

The plate armor line names are:
Bards - Luvwen's armor of Melody
Clerics - Dakkamor's armor of the Divine
Paladins - Trimdet's armor of Chivalry
Shadowknights - Rayin's armor of Abhorrence
Warriors - Vadd's armor of Elite Combat

See the Plate GoD Quest Smithing recipes for finished armor stats.
