After completing the quest to get the Ancestral Barbarian Armor book, you can make patterns and molds to make either tailored or smithed armor. When you're making patterns and molds, one "combine" will actually create a full set of patterns or molds: 20 chest, 20 legs, 20 feet, 20 head, 20 arms, 20 gloves and 40 wrists.

Don't forget that you can store the patterns with the Cultural Treasurers that are just outside the entrance to library in Plane of Knowledge.
