Alternate Advancement Points for Tradeskilling fall into three basic categories:
- New Tanaan Crafting Mastery
- Salvage
- Individual Tradeskill Mastery
New Tanaan Crafting Mastery: There are a total of six ranks of New Tanaan Crafting Mastery. You must purchase these AAs in order to raise more than one of the seven standard tradeskills past 200. They each cost 3 AA points and you can start buying them once you reach level 51.
Salvage: There are a total of six ranks of Salvage. You can purchase the Salvage AAs starting at level 60. This AA line allows you to have a chance to recover one or more of the ingredients on a failed combine. Salvage can be very helpful when attempting expensive/rare combines.
Tradeskill Mastery: The Individual Tradeskill Mastery AA lines do two things. Ranks 1 - 3 reduce your failure rates. Ranks 4 - 13 allow you to raise your skill level above 300. Spell Research AAs are different for different class groups.
Follow the links below to more detailed information regarding each Tradeskill Mastery Line.
